Krissie B. Taylor

Formerly, Krissie was director of Heritage Learning Center in Hyattsville and under her leadership, the school achieved designations as a Maryland State Department of Education Accredited Learning Center, Credential Learning Center and Maryland Excel Level Learning Center. Taylor is also currently associated with the Maryland State Department of Education’s Ready at Five program. From 2006 to 2011, Taylor was an elementary special education teacher for Prince George’s County Public Schools. Additionally, she is a varsity swim coach at St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel.
An alumnus of the University of Maryland College Park, Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in family studies and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel College. She is a member of the Prince George’s County Public Schools Judy Center Steering Committee, the Prince George’s County Infant and Toddler Local Interagency Coordinating Council, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the Maryland Childcare Association.
