
Anaïs Bakayoko

Anaïs Bakayoko is an accomplished educational leader with over a decade of experience advancing student achievement, cultivating strong school cultures, and developing high-performing teams. She currently serves as Principal of Monarch Global Academy, where she is committed to ensuring every scholar receives an academically rigorous, globally minded, and affirming educational experience.
Prior to joining MGA, Ms. Bakayoko served as an Assistant Principal in Dallas Independent School District, where she played a key role in leading instructional improvement efforts and supporting a campus transformation that contributed to significant gains in student outcomes. She was recognized as a finalist for Dallas ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year and became one of the district’s youngest high school assistant principals.
Ms. Bakayoko holds a Master of Education in Urban Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from North Park University. She is a certified Principal as Instructional Leader (EC–12) and is passionate about equity, excellence, and preparing students to thrive as future leaders in an interconnected world.
Originally from the United Kingdom and having lived in multiple countries, Ms. Bakayoko brings a global perspective to her leadership. She believes deeply in the power of relationships, high expectations, and culturally responsive learning environments that empower every scholar to reach their full potential.
