Dawn RobertsMark, is a seasoned education professional and non-profit leader.  A former teacher and administrator, Dawn brings over 15 years of experience to the organization. Prior to coming to The Children’s Guild, Dawn helped launch one of Baltimore City School’s only all-virtual schools, playing a major role in the development and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures to optimize student and family engagement and the overall educational experience.  Dawn has served in leadership roles at other Baltimore City and County schools and was the recipient of the prestigious 2016 California Casualty Award for Teaching Excellence. Only 42 teachers in the nation received this honor.

In addition, she served in leadership positions for a local nonprofit, including the organization’s Executive Director.

Dawn has a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Development. Dawn has her Admin I certification from the State of Maryland.
