SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE
Because we are an organization serving children and families, all employees are mandated reporters of known or suspected neglect and abuse. If you suspect a youth/student in our care or an employee is an abuse or neglect victim, report it to your supervisor immediately. They will assist you with communicating the concerns to the proper authorities. Student and employee safety is our number one concern.

See something, say something. Everyone needs to be vigilant. Report cars that don't belong and make sure visitors are wearing badges that can make them easily identifiable.

CLEANING
Scheduled facility-wide cleaning is essential to infection control and is managed by Operations. Each campus has a designated person to continuously mitigate the potential spread of viruses through cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and high-touch areas throughout the day.

Cleaning Reminder
Help us keep germs at bay by wiping down commonly used items regularly. This includes desks, phones, keyboards, etc. They carry the most germs and can reduce seasonal illnesses and viruses.

VISITOR POLICY
Visitors will be limited and must be pre-approved by a supervisor to enhance the safety of children and staff. Visitors must enter the building through the visitor-only access points. They will be screened by administrative staff, follow sign-in procedures, and wear a visitor badge the entire time they are in the building.

DRESS CODE
Dress professionally and appropriately to be a positive role model for our students and the Guild's image in the community. Our culture requires employee clothing to be clean and unwrinkled. It can not have an attire that undermines diversity or promotes substance use (including alcohol) or sexual themes.

Dress Code Policy Reminder
Dress is determined by your job and activity. Our dress policy was overhauled in 2021 to provide staff flexibility and maintain the safety of the youth we serve and the staff we employ. The dress code policy will be reviewed annually, and supervisors will decide at that time if any changes are necessary. At any time, staff can bring questions to their supervisor about workplace attire.
