DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE
The Guild is a drug-free work environment. Illegal drugs are not permitted on the property or in any school or building. Individuals under the influence of a substance during the work day will be reported to Human Resources immediately.

If an employee has medication that they need to take during the work day, they should have an active and current prescription. Medication must be kept locked up at all times, including over-the-counter medicines.

SUSPECTED CHILD ABUSE
Because we are an organization serving children and families, all employees are mandated reporters of known or suspected neglect and abuse. If you suspect a youth/student in our care or an employee is an abuse or neglect victim, report it to your supervisor immediately. They will assist you with communicating the concerns to the proper authorities. Student and employee safety is our number one concern.

VISITOR POLICY
Visitors will be limited and must be pre-approved by a supervisor to enhance the safety of children and staff. Visitors must enter the building through the visitor-only access points. They will be screened by administrative staff, follow sign-in procedures, and wear a visitor badge the entire time they are in the building.

Dress Code Policy Reminder
Dress is determined by your job and activity. Our dress policy was overhauled in 2021 to provide staff flexibility and maintain the safety of the youth we serve and the staff we employ. The dress code policy will be reviewed annually, and supervisors will decide at that time if any changes are necessary. At any time, staff can bring questions to their supervisor about workplace attire.
