Technology Is a Necessary Tool in Our Special Education Classrooms and Schools

This April, The Children’s Guild is proud to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month.
Since we started educating in 1953, we have been a leader and pioneer in special education and working with children on the autism spectrum. There’s been a lot of progress in special education. Schools like ours can make it easier for families to access resources and technology tools that assist children in the classroom, at home, and even at play outdoors and on the playground.

The Children’s Guild was pleased to be recognized in the Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) December 2023 Newsletter. MANSEF is a not-for-profit organization of 70 nonpublic special education facilities approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. These schools promote quality services for children and youth with disabilities.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools Renews Charter School Status Of Monarch Academy Glen Burnie And Contract School Status For Monarch Global Academy Laurel

The Children’s Guild is delighted to announce the renewal of charter and contract school status by the Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) for two of their schools. Monarch Academy Glen Burnie received renewal of the charter status and Monarch Global Academy Laurel received renewal for the contract school status.
