Kimberly’s mission-driven spirit led her to The Children’s Guild where she not only uses her legal talents to directly benefit children and families but engages with them directly to understand their circumstances and needs.
In her position, she manages all legal matters, including contracts, corporate governance, education, employment, and litigation matters. She also supervises The Children’s Guild’s Compliance Department and serves as a fiduciary and secretary to the organization’s Retirement Plan Committee.
Kimberly earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science. She is professionally rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized by the Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women and as a Very Important Professional.
She continues her involvement in the professional and local communities, currently serving as vice president and treasurer of the Association of Corporate Counsel- Baltimore chapter and as a Stephen Minister and children’s choir director at Catonsville United Methodist Church. Her prior board service includes the BBB Maryland Foundation, the Maryland affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Downtown Baltimore Child Care, Inc.
