Deborah brings a knowledge of a variety of industries with her HR background of hospitality, intellectual disabilities, educational and social service industries. These experiences have allowed her to develop a true heart for the difficult path that vulnerable children and their families have navigated through life.  The vision and mission statements were the key drivers of her decision to join The Children’s Guild.

She is passionate about team building and creating a welcoming, customer service environment to serve the management and employees.  She hopes her HR knowledge in recruiting, systems, benefits, compliance, performance management, and employee relations will make a significant contribution to The Children’s Guild.

Deborah has a master’s degree in human resource management from Towson University and she holds a SHRM-Certified Professional and Professional Human Resources certification.
