Italian Cars and Cruising Power Boats to be Showcased in Inner Harbor

BALTIMORE—The Children’s Guild will hold its sixth annual Viva Italia: Concours D’Elegance presented by Mr. Tire on Rash Field Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and PassageMaker Magazine’s Trawler Fest will hold a three-day boat show in the Inner Harbor from Sept. 23 to 26 for the cruising-under-power community. Trawler Fest and The Children’s Guild are collaborating this year to give participants two exciting venues to enjoy.

Trawler Fest, a celebration for the cruising community, brings together the latest products and services specific to the trawler market, educational seminars that focus on boating skills, and the opportunity to go aboard a wide variety of trawlers and cruising powerboats. Admission to the boat show is $15 per person and several seminar packages are available and range from $50 to $380. For more information on Trawler Fest to include sponsorships, land and water displays, educational opportunities and seminars, visit www.trawlerfest.com or call 888-487-2953.

Viva Italia: Concours D’Elegance will feature 81 Italian cars and motorcycles featuring marques such as Alfa Romeo, Ducati, Ferrari, Fiat, Lamborghini and Maserati. In addition to the car show which is free to the public, The Children’s Guild will host a full slate of VIP activities to include an all-day brunch at the Rusty Scupper, silent auction, award ceremony and admission to the boat show. Proceeds will benefit The Children’s Guild, which provides educational and therapeutic programs for 700 children and adolescents with behavior and emotional disorders due to family dysfunction, poverty, autism and multiple disabilities throughout Maryland and D.C. For information on car registration, V.I.P. tickets and sponsorships call 410-522-2585 or visit www.viva-italia.org.
